1980s Recognizing the need to keep older downtown buildings as viable, useful properties, the company renovates the former McDonald’s at 217 N. Charles Street into a 25,000-square-foot office building that now houses the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore.
The company purchases and renovates the historic Sonneborn building (known as M&T Center) at Paca and Pratt streets.
The company assembles several properties at St. Paul and Lexington Streets, builds a 900-car garage (completed in 1986) and a 280,000-square-foot office building known as St. Paul Plaza (completed in 1989).
The Office of the Attorney General and NFL Player Benefits become the first tenants.
